develop the pantograph CNC 300C / 300C Plus that fits exactly with the needs of this companies for cutting insulated block of EPS and components of XPS.
The attention for the construction of buildings and homes that fullfill the Request for Energy Saving and Energy efficency, in recent years, has meant that all the companies operating in the windows and doors
sector have adapted their production to this new requirement in order to guarantee that buildings have adequate thermal and acoustic insulation.
The combination between the external insulation finishing system for the facades (EIFS) with new insulation systems for doors and windows has resulted in an effective reduction of heat losses due to the
old counterframe for doors and windows used in the past.
Today almost 90% of the new buildings have thermal / acoustic insulating doors and windows.
Expanded polystyrene or extruded polystyrene are used to create the insulating roller shutter box and components of thermal blocks which guarantee excellent waterproofing.

300C is a CNC cutting machine for processing polystyrene, developed and built following the specific needs of the companies operating in the sector of thermal insulating windows.
The cutting area of the 300C (X 1400, Y 1300 and wire length – Z – 3000 mm) allows to produce thermal/acousitc insulating shutter box and monoblocks for windows of any size.
Its structure made of aluminum with steel supports is robust and very accurate.
Thanks to the use of specialized technicians and the latest generation machinery, Nettuno Sistemi has always focused its attention on creating highly professional and reliable foam cutting machines.
The movement of the axes that runs on precision recirculating ball guides and the * closed loop stepper motors (* standard on the Plus model) guarantee maximum precision and reliability for this cnc hotwire foam cutting machine.
A solid and complete workstation is coming along with pc, controls for software / hardware of the machines functions.

The tension of the cutting wire for the 300C Plus is regulated by use of the advanced tensioning system pc controlled developed by Nettuno Sistemi.
This unconventional pc-controlled tensioner (not pneumatic) was first conceived by Nettuno Sistemi and then barely copied by competitors worldwide.
Contrary to what happen when the tension is regulated by springs, that can lose force after a while and affect the accuracy, with the wire tensioner Nettuno the operator is sure to get the highest precision. It allows getting then maximum diagonal of the cutting wire when processing files with independent axes for tapered / conical cuts. The tensioner is equipped with a spool or wire and during the execution of the cut, is able to recognize when to release or pull back the wire, always keeping constant the tension of the cutting wire.

WIRELESS HANDHELD KEYPAD
The Wireless Operator Keypad, supplied as standard with both the 300C and the Plus models, allows the operator to perform numerous operations with ease and practicality:

All of these operations can be done staying close to the cutting wire while you still control the machine from remote, not using the main control (power station). Useful when need to execute manual moving and cuts of foam blocks.
A complete workstation with computers, monitors and all the necessary software to be immediately operational. All components of the workstation are Dell branded to ensure you get the best performance and reliability.
The Vertical Turntable, also called rotating table, is an optional used for cutting 3D foam shapes,
symmetrical or asymmetrical irregular, spheres, columns, 3D foam characters and figures.
This optional, can be also combines with the Shapeable Wire for making grooves on 3D Styrofoam shapes. (like details on coke bottles)
Horizontal Turntable / Lathe, is used for to processing large 3d Styrofoam shapes or sculptures starting from long eps blocks and / or foam cylinders.
This tool is able to cut complex expanded polystyrene spiral columns, fluted columns, twisted columns, capitals and many 3d objects also combining it with the shapeable wire.
The main difference between vertical turntable and horizontal lathe, is that you can process longer foam block because it can cut blocks all along the same length of the X axes.
Using the shapeable wire it will be very easy to make foam shapes with grooves or engraves.
The shapeable wire / carver is installed, on the slider of the CNC foam cutter and moves following the path drawn in CAD.
Using brass clamp, a shaped Nickel Crome wire is fixed on the machine and then cut the expanded
polystyrene. The combination between the handcraft accuracy and the technology CNC is giving as result unique curved models that a standard straight cutting wire, could not give. This tool is used for creating foam moulding and decorations like capitals, foam columns, engraved eps pillars, shapes polystyrene parapets, crowns and much more. The cutting process joined with Vertical or Horizontal turntable allows making great decorated foam twisted columns.
The intelligent cutting wire speed system.
Clevel is an automatic feed rate adjustment, (conceived and patented by Nettuno Sistemi), that can automatically adjust the feed rate (cutting speed) of the axes by detecting the alignment of the cutting
wire. It can regulate and optimize the speed of cutting wire in relation of the different density of the foam that
the machine is cutting. To set manually the correct cutting speed for the cnc foam cutter could be complex procedure and the
operator must keep in mind different parameters:
- Cutting wire temperature
- Diameter of the cutting wire
- Temperature of the environment where the machine is placed
- Environmental humidity
- Humidity of the expanded polystyrene block that he is going to cut
- Density of the Styrofoam block
- Possible irregular expansion of the foam block
Clevel is able to process all these data automatically and in real time. Installing Clevel on the CNC hotwire foam cutters Nettuno Sistemi, the operator is avoiding mistakes and
low accuracy of the cuts, that could happen when the foam cutting machine works without a preliminary control of the above mentioned parameters and a continuous monitoring of the cutting process.
