Ercolina Plus is a linear 3-axis CNC milling machine specifically designed for milling operations on Expanded Polystyrene and Extruded Polystyrene, utilizing its spacious cutting area. Moreover, it allows for the machining of various thermoplastic materials, wood, and wood-derived multilayer fiberboard such as MDF, chipboard, and plywood. This versatile machine finds extensive use in the manufacturing industry, catering to applications that demand precise cuts and high-quality finishes achievable through milling operations. Additionally, with the aid of engraving tools, it can perform engravings on wood and thermoplastic materials.
How it is made and what you can do
The CNC milling machine Ercolina Plus has 3 linear axes running on recirculating ball bearing guides and driven by servo motors. This machine is designed for precise engravings, allowing the creation of custom shapes and products with high accuracy.
From the console, it is possible to control the movement of the axes by setting the dimensions of the material used for cutting polystyrene. The CNC milling machine’s operation is controlled by a computerized numerical control (CNC) system, enabling precise programming of the machine’s actions.
