Our 3D foam signs and graphics machine is developed with an advanced sliding system. A toothed belt and ball recirculation guides allow the machine to cut with extreme precision and stability. With a cutting area of 2000 mm in X, 1250 mm in Y, and 700 mm in Z, it proves perfect for high-detail processing.

Work surface dynamics

The Cream 200’s work-bed is fabricated from precision-ground, powder-coated steel, delivering an inherently rigid platform with nanometer-scale flatness tolerances.

This configuration minimizes deflection under load, enabling micron-level repeatability when processing small polystyrene geometries. The open-frame underside allows the heated cutting filament to traverse fully through the foam block, assuring complete separation of the finished part from its parent matrix without residual webbing or drag.

The corrosion-resistant coating further prolongs service life by preventing abrasion and chemical attack during continuous operation.

Kinematic trasmission architecture

Motion control is realized via NEMA-rated stepper motors directly coupled to steel-reinforced timing belts.

These belts run over toothed pulleys synchronized with precision ground linear rails featuring recirculating ball carriages.

This arrangement achieves backlash-free travel and sub-0.01 mm positioning accuracy along both axes. The low-inertia drive train and high-stiffness guides eliminate vibration and stick-slip phenomena, ensuring uniform wire feed speed and consistent thermal cutting conditions throughout the machining envelope.

The vertical turntable is an accessory designed to work with blocks of polystyrene (EPS, XPS) placed vertically, allowing 360° machining on the entire surface of the material.
