The Ercolina Plus CNC router is designed to perform precision engraving, allowing you to create custom shapes and products with high accuracy for machining expanded and extruded high-density polystyrene, enabling precision milling to create personalized shapes. Ercolina Plus is equipped with a robust anodized aluminum structure featuring 3 linear axes mounted on recirculating ball guides and powered by servomotors, ensuring smooth and precise movements during every operation. The pneumatic positioning cylinders provide stable clamping of the workpiece, minimizing vibrations and enhancing cutting precision. The machine also comes with a protective plexiglass enclosure with sliding doors and a safety alarm, which protects the operator from splinters, debris, and potential malfunctions, maintaining high safety standards during use.

Security first
The automated 3 axis CNC milling machine structure includes a protective enclosure that fully surrounds the work area, ensuring maximum safety for the operator. The enclosure is designed with sliding or hinged doors, depending on the machine configuration, for quick and safe access.
The Ercolina software automatically triggers a ‘Door Open’ alert when the enclosure is open, which disappears once it is closed. During operations, the system locks the doors, keeping the area protected.
Milling area
Our professional CNC milling machine offers a large cutting area: 2050 mm on the X-axis, 1250 mm on the Y-axis and 250 mm in height (Z-axis).
This space allows for precise work even on large panels or thicker materials, while always maintaining a high-quality finish.
Handheld control
The device allows the user to remotely manage the machine interface. The operator can perform preliminary operations such as keyboard input for the Z-axis and saving origins, as well as manage the start, pause, and stop of the machining process.
The Jog function, accessible from the dedicated menu, allows for manual movement of the machine. Additionally, there is an MDI menu, which enables the insertion of individual GCode command lines to perform movements with simple machine instructions.

Designed and developed in-house, the Nettuno software represents an added value that allows us to maintain our leadership position in the hot wire cutting technology sector for expanded polystyrene processing.
