400I is equipped with the automatic wire tensioning system, developed in-house at Nettuno. This system allows the wire to be tilted without limits, reaching the maximum diagonal.

The high wire inclination angle, which can reach the system’s maximum diagonal, allows the CNC polystyrene cutting machines to perform extremely complex cuts, which are impossible to achieve with traditional machines.

The foam cutting machine’s motion control system relies on high-precision servo motors. These motors are specifically chosen for their ability to deliver accurate control over speed and position, allowing the system to respond dynamically and perfectly adapt to the specific requirements of each cutting task. This precise control translates directly to the quality and accuracy of the final cut.For the physical movement along the axes, the system utilizes high-quality linear guides. These guides are paired with low-friction carriages and driven by ball screws. This combination is critical for ensuring exceptionally smooth operation, minimizing any potential judder or vibration during movement.Furthermore, the use of low-friction components and robust guides significantly minimizes mechanical wear, contributing to the machine’s long-term accuracy and reliability.

Worktable design

The design of the worktable made in high density wood fiber for the 400I Sniper machine prioritizes operational accuracy and longevity. The specific material selected for the table top is crucial; it has been chosen explicitly to ensure a perfectly flat and stable reference surface.

Multiple wire harp

It can cut polystyrene blocks with more than one wire simultaneously, processing multiple pieces of the same shape in a single movement.

Vertical turntable

Used for 360° cutting of 3D shapes in polystyrene, whether they are symmetric or asymmetric, irregular, spheres, columns, characters, and figures.

Horizontal lathe

The horizontal lathe, unlike the vertical one, is equipped with a tailstock that allows the processing of the polystyrene block at 360° along the entire length of the machine.

Carver

The carver uses a rigid wire that can be manually shaped according to your needs, allowing you to create cavities within pre-shaped forms or produce unique and customized shapes.

Clevel

Automatic wire speed adjustment system. It prevents errors, inaccuracies, and defects caused by a cutting speed that has not been determined through proper checks and controls.
