Double Cut is a molding block machine that features an advanced sliding system on ball recirculation guides and a toothed belt, ensuring precision and smooth movements.

With a cutting area of 2500 mm in A, 1250 mm in Y, and 2300 mm in B, it is perfect CNC 8 axis machine for a wide range of applications.

The open-frame structure facilitates access and visibility, making the machining process more efficient and allowing for better control during operations.

Versatility of Double Cut

Wire inclination

8 independent axis

Two wires are configured orthogonally (at 90 degrees) on the 8 axis machine. A single control interface directs their independent movement along separate axes.

This independent, multi-axis control allows the wires to address the work-piece without requiring it to be moved from its initial fixed position.

Thanks to the high inclination angle of the wire, the machine allows for the execution of extremely complex cuts, which would be impossible with traditional machinery.

How it works

The Double Cut system incorporates stepper motors for actuation. Motion is achieved via a drive system comprising a toothed belt transmission and linear guides featuring recirculating ball bearings.

This configuration ensures smooth travel and high positional accuracy throughout the EPS block molding process.

 

Structure

The EPS block molding machine’s open frame structure, made of anodized aluminum profiles, allows the material to be placed on the work surface without obstructions from structural limits, providing maximum freedom of movement.The table top of Double Cut is made of Compacmel Plus, a high-density wood fiber panel selected to ensure a perfectly flat surface.

A specialist in construction, insulation, and packaging, Double Cut comes with our in-house developed Nettuno software, allowing you to control multiple axes at once and easily handle even the most complex cuts on every side of the block.

The movement system of the vertical turntable is controlled by the Nettuno Software, allowing for extremely precise adjustments of the rotation speed and material processing, ensuring uniform results without defects. The turntable is equipped with a robust support to maintain block stability during processing, minimizing vibrations and inaccuracies.
